I have known Charmaine for over 10 years from the hospitality Industry. Her attention to detail and concern for making sure her clients were happy made her very successful. I have been in the hotel industry for 37 years and have enjoyed a career spanning iconic hotels including being Hotel Manager of the Fairmont Banff Springs and General Manager of the Fairmont Jasper Lodge for 7 years. When you deal with Charmaine regarding a real estate sale or purchase, you don’t receive the typical responses that you most often hear from a realtor. She is definitely not a “yes” person! Charmaine will provide you with facts and figures that play a key role in what you are trying to achieve with the purchase of your new home or the sale of your current home! Charmaine cares…and that clearly shows when she provides you with her sincere & honest opinion. Sales are most definitely important to Charmaine, but to be honest, she is more inclined to be your friend first and realtor second! We recently dealt with Charmaine on the potential sale of a condo, which was owned by an elderly family member. Long story short, the sale didn’t end up going through Charmaine, but that was only because of her valued input and honesty. The direction Charmaine guided us towards, ended up benefitting the elderly owner in the end.
I have been fortunate enough to have known Charmaine for 20+ years, and in my previous business dealings with Charmaine outside of the real estate world, the number one thing that comes to mind is how genuinely nice and caring this person really is! As funny and happy go lucky as she seems on the outside, rest assured she is a definite bottom line personality…which is what you want! She will work hard to obtain the results you want, but she will most definitely do this in such a manner that you leave knowing that she has your back and will do everything in her power to make things happen for you!
My wife, kids and I are probably a couple years away from potentially selling our current home, but we won’t have to look far for a realtor that we trust, as Charmaine will definitely be our choice! I highly recommend Charmaine Richter to anyone that wants someone to represent them in a professional manner…without the added stresses!
